Father paneloux was the religionguru. He was say them all that God has punished you all because of sin.The cattard was a criminal. And he was very happy to have this disease. Finally he is punished. So all these people have shown the humanity within themselves. All the different human qualities are found in this novel. In the same way there are a lot of people in the Corona epidemic right now who are helping and a lot of people are becoming a hindrance. Many doctors have started vaccinating. A lot of people make fun of Corona. And blame the government for not doing what. wanders out of the house despite lockdown. There is no such thing as responsibility. Which causes a lot of people to die. And Corona's case increases. So everyone has to be a responsible citizen and follow all the rules and regulations.
2) Science vs religion - the question of god and religion in times of epidemics and calamities.

At present the government is contributing a lot to the disease of corona.
